Requirements:

• Must pass background check and drug screen
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the Texas, with a driving record that meets DISH’s minimum safety standard.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; college or technical/vocational school a plus.
• Basic computer skills; basic electronics and/or audio/video knowledge is helpful.
• Strong customer service skills; friendly, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time on a ladder, lift over 70 lbs at times, crawl into small spaces, work in all climates.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Cable/satellite industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High energy, being resourceful, and strong multi-tasking skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site surveys – determine the best location and positioning of the satellite equipment and be able to communicate the options with the customer.
• Installing service – place mounts, satellite dishes and receivers while ensuring broadband connectivity
• Educating customers – review order with the customer and teach them the system and the basics of using their new technology.
• Providing Dish Smart Home Services – successful technicians offer our customers additional services and products while earning additional income on every install and learning new skills.

Compensation:

With Trusted Home Solutions Ltd. you are an employee and NOT a 1099 contractor. Training pay starts $15 an hour depending on experience. Once you begin working independently you will be provided with a company vehicle, fuel card, uniform, tools, and supplies to serve our customers. You will travel in and around your area with roughly a 40-mile radius to work. At that point you will get paid per job and also have the ability to earn commission and bonuses based on your individual performance. Your annual salary will depend largely on your ability to be efficient and effective at your job. The average yearly salary for a technician starts around $40,000/yr. and up to $100,000+/yr. depending on your personal performance and motivation to work. We schedule our technicians to work 5 on 2 off. You will be required to work on weekends and possibly some holidays as well as in the rain, sleet, snow, and sunshine. This position is not for everyone but is very rewarding.
